Nicole Grable, DVM
Owner, Veterinarian
Dr. Nicole Grable is a compassionate veterinarian with more than 20 years of experience providing high-quality veterinary care. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003 and has dedicated her career to building lasting relationships with clients and delivering thoughtful, individualized care for every patient.
Dr. Grable’s professional interests include pain management, preventive medicine, and geriatric and hospice care for senior patients. She believes that excellent veterinary care begins with listening, taking the time to understand each pet’s needs and each family’s goals, while focusing on comfort, mobility, and quality of life at every stage. Her professional memberships include the Independent Veterinary Practitioners Association, the International Association for Veterinary Pain Management, and the American and Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Associations.
Outside of the clinic, “Dr. G” lives on a small farm with her husband Mark Shaffer, her 2 older children, and a variety of animals. She enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, mountain biking, and kayaking, and is an avid reader and self-proclaimed “foodie”. She is a 2011 Charter member of the WAGs (Women’s Adventure Group). Her love of animals, nature, and community is reflected in the calm, caring approach she brings to her veterinary practice.
